This 2/3 scale sculpture is inspired by the iconic Lotus 25 from 1963 driven by the legendary Jim Clark who won his first championship title the same year.
How not to be interested in Jim Clark and these cars when classic racing are a source of inspiration. The man behind the driver has for sure touched me, his story, his palmares, there is no point in comparing him. It was Jim Clark.
Size : L 165cm / W 75cm / H 50cm
The body work is made of ash and the nails are of brass. The cockpit is covered with a ziricote veener. The back is covered with a swamp oak veener. The wheels and tires are made of lime wood.
The gearbox, the hubs, the rear shocks and the steering wheel are made of walnut. The axles, the exhaust pipes and the intake manifold are made of steel.
